Edina Cottage is a delightful traditional cottage in the attractive fishing village of Pittenweem in the East Neuk of Fife. With a superb location right in the heart of this historic village lying just a short walk from all village amenities including the shop, harbour, library, church, cafes, fish and chip bar and the The Fife Coastal Path long distance walk. Easy walks north to Anstruther or south to St. Monans reveal fascinating rock formations and outdoor swimming pools, cleaned each day by the tide, await the adventurous visitor.

Edina Cottage
Routine Row is a quiet area in the higher part of the town with the cottage just at the end of the lane.
On the lower floor there is a large lounge with log burning stove, dining table, TV, WiFi a large corner sofa and two comfortable armchairs.
The Kitchen leads to a lovely private garden which has a summerhouse, picnic table and chairs. Also on the lower floor is a shower room with WC, washing machine and ironing facilities.
There is one dedicated parking space a few feet away.
Going into the cottage and closing the door you feel welcomed and protected from the world outside.
Pittenweem
Pittenweem is a traditional East Neuk fishing port rather than a seaside resort, with its historic working harbour home to a fleet of fishing boats, trawlers and small creel boats. The Harbour adds to the town’s enduring charm and lively atmosphere.
Many of the picturesque houses around the harbour are of traditional Fife design with red pantile or grey-slate roofs with crow-step gables and some at ‘The Gyles’ have been beautifully restored by the National Trust for Scotland.
The Rooms
The large lounge has a corner sofa, two armchairs and a dining table with four chairs. The woodburning stove will ensure you are cozy on cooler nights and the gas fired central heating keeps the whole cottage perfectly heated.
The well-equipped kitchen should have everything you need. Also on this floor is a shower room with WC that also has a washing machine and ironing facilities.
Upstairs is a bedroom with king size bed and ensuite shower room with separate bath. The second bedroom has twin beds with zip & link super-king size option. Both bedrooms have quality oak storage and bedside cabinets and windows overlooking the nearby church and row of cottages.
